Patrick Michaelis, the commander of the Mission Command Element, 1st Infantry Division, out of Fort Riley, Kansas, visits Soldiers of the 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team in Torun, Poland in the motor pool as part of a field visit 25 March, 2019. The MCE is a command post for the units of the 1st Inf. Div. across Europe providing support for the Soldiers in the field and NATO allies in support of Atlantic Resolve.
