(Mar. 13, 2019) – A member of Navy Munitions Command CONUS West gives training on gas management components and rigging equipment to Sailors assigned to Navy Cargo Handling Battalion 1 prior to an expeditionary ordnance reload training evolution with the USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112) on Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach. The expeditionary ordnance reload training evolution was a demonstration of capabilities as part of Pacific Blitz 2019 (PacBlitz19). PacBlitz19 is an opportunity for U.S. forces to increase maritime readiness to be prepared for real-world crisis situations and provides realistic, relevant training necessary for effective global crisis response expected of the Navy and Marine Corps.
