Soldiers from Australia, England, Germany, New Zealand, and the U.S. gathered together at the Camp Taji Military Complex, Iraq, March 17, 2019, for a memorial service in observance of the victims affected by the Christchurch, New Zealand terrorist attack. The attack took place on Friday, March 15, 2019. Coalition forces in attendance are all a part of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve, which works with partner forces to defeat Daesh and set conditions for follow-on operations to increase regional stability.
