190324-N-RI884-1007 PHILIPPINE SEA (March 24, 2019) - A landing craft, air cushion (LCAC), assigned to Navy Beach Unit 7, conducts training drills alongside a rigid-hulled inflatable boat (RHIB) and the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). Wasp, flagship of Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
