Chaplain (Lt. Col.) Jeffrey D. Watters, Regional Command (South) and 82nd Airborne Division chaplain; Col. Karl D. Reed, RC(S) and 82nd Airborne Division chief of staff; and Chaplain (Col.) Dave Smith, USFOR-A Command chaplain, present retired Col. Danny R. McKnight, made famous in the book and film Black Hawk Down for his actions in Mogadishu, Somalia in 1993, with a certificate of recognition at the National Prayer Breakfast on Kandahar Airfield Feb. 6, where service members from across RC(S) listened to a praise and worship band, and heard a talk by guest speaker McKnight, now a motivational speaker.
