Master Sgt. Bill Hoeft coordinates an exercise for airmen from the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing, including firefighters, security forces, medical teams and several other units Jan. 18, 2012. For the major accident response exercise scenario, Hoeft and his team of evaluators assessed how 380th AEW airmen would respond in case a KC-10 Extender aircraft crashed on the runway. Hoeft, the wing plans and programs superintendent, is assigned to the 380th AEW and is deployed from Travis Air Force Base, Calif.
