OKINAWA, Japan (Feb. 21, 2019) — Capt. Brian Erickson, Commander, Task Force (CTF) 72, speaks to Sailors assigned to the "Grey Knights" of Patrol Squadron (VP) 46, the "Golden Swordsmen" of VP-47, and the "World Watchers" of Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron 1 during a visit and all-hands call to Commander, Task Group (CTG) 72.1 and CTG-72.2, components of CTF-72. CTF-72 leads patrol, reconnaissance and surveillance forces in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet (C7F), promoting regional security and enhancement of theater security operations through multilateral engagements to build reconnaissance and surveillance capability within C7F and partner forces.
