PACIFIC OCEAN (March 17, 2019) – A Landing Craft Air cushion (LCAC) from Assault Craft Unit 5 moves out of the well deck of USS New Orleans (LPD 18) during exercise Pacific Blitz 19. Pacific Blitz is a scenario-driven joint exercise that provides relevant training by replicating a realistic maritime threat environment designed to challenge and improve amphibious capabilities necessary for effective global crisis response.
