Clayton Lewis, from Dallas, Texas assigned to Combat Logistics Regiment 1, checks the level of potable water at the simulated advanced naval base on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California as part of Exercise Pacific Blitz 2019 (PacBlitz19). Working hand-in-hand, the 1st Marine Logistics Group and Navy expeditionary force capabilities complement each other in the building of advanced naval bases. PacBlitz19 provides relevant training that replicates a realistic maritime threat environment designed to improve naval amphibious core competencies necessary for effective, global crisis response expected of the Navy and Marine Corps.
