John Higgins, from Fort Collins, Colo., provides security for Landing Craft, Utility (LCU) 1651, assigned to Naval Beach Unit (NBU) 7, during transit prior to a simulated beach raid. The amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20), part of the Commander Amphibious Squadron 11, is operating in the region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
