Will Lucas (left) salutes Colonel Erik Aufderheide, 914th Air Refueling Wing Vice Commander after he was sworn in as honorary Second Lieutenant while his dad Tom Lucas and Alyssa Jerge of Oishei Children's Hospital of Buffalo N.Y. look on at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, N.Y. on March 6, 2019. Lucas was chosen to be "Airman for A Day" a program sponsored by the children's hospital in cooperation with the 914th Air Refueling Wing. This enthusiastic 11 year old was given a tour and briefed on many sections of the unit.
