The Black Rock Lock gate repairs, Buffalo, NY, March 12, 2019. Work includes laying out and cutting bottom pin locations to be bored, drilling top diagonal plates, installing pintle casting bolts, setting up stringlines to plane miter timbers, boring quoin side bottom diagonal plate, and setting up to bore miter side bottom diagonal plates.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Buffalo District Black Rock Lock employees, the Buffalo District Dive Team, and Huntington District continue work on the Black Rock Lock anchorage repairs providing safe navigation and recreation for the public.
