CAMP ARIFJAN, Kuwait – Soldiers form a team huddle to break at the end of a Value of Life ruck march,at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, March 11, 2019. Soldiers ruck marched 3 kilometers while stopping at four checkpoints. At each checkpoint, several Soldiers who were carrying sandbags swapped them with other Soldiers in the group and continued ruck marching. This act simulates carrying a burden in life and helping each other with that burden. Value of Life training is a supplemental program to the annual suicide prevention and awareness Ask, Care, Escort training. U.S. Army Central hosts these types of events to demonstrate its enduring commitment to Soldiers’ health, welfare and morale. (U.S. Army Reserve photo by Sgt. Christopher Lindborg)
