Yama Sakura is United States Army Pacific's premier joint bilateral command post exercise with the Japan Self Defense Force. Yama Sakura 61 marks the largest bi-lateral exercise between the USARPAC and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force since the Great Tohoku Earthquake March 11, 2011.
