Senior Airman Ruben Heredia explains a compass to 5th graders during their Explorers Field Day Jan. 26, 2012. Heredia used land navigation techniques to teach the children how to use a compass. Heredia is a native of San Antonio and is currently deployed from Kadena Air Base, Japan.
