    A military medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) helicopter, identifiable by the red cross markings, is airborne while conducting a hoist rescue operation. Personnel are suspended in a rescue basket/litter below the aircraft, being hoisted upward. Crew members are visible in the open side door of the helicopter managing the operation.
