190306-N-IY469-009 – Capt. Christopher Culp, NMCP's commanding officer, talked to active duty staff members about the importance of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. “Today is about awareness, it’s about asking you, during the fund drive, to just help make our staff aware that they are there, what they can do for us and give them an opportunity to be a part of it, that’s what the fund drive is about,” Culp said. “We have no goals for contribution, but we certainly have a goal that everybody who is a part of this command be exposed to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, to understand that they are there, what they offer and to have the opportunity to help should they choose to do so, so that’s what the fund drive is about.”
