British and American Soldiers slog through the tall reeds of a canal near Patrol Base Lions' Den, Iraq, on a combined patrol with soldiers of the Iraqi army. Four British soldiers at a time are attached to the 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) , out of Fort Drum, N.Y., for 90 days to assist in training Iraqi troops.
