Staff Sgt. Carl Tate, of 1st Squadron, 98th Cavalry Regiment, surprised his three oldest children, Zoey, 7; Wyatt, 7; and T.J., 5; at Enterprise Attendance Center in Lincoln County Feb. 28, 2019. Tate returned home from a year-long deployment with the 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team to Kuwait in support of Operation Spartan Shield last night. Soldiers of the 155th will continue to arrive home through the end of March 2019. His wife, Rebekah, and two youngest children, Ginnifer and Kevin, were also present. Tate met his son Kevin for the first time on February 27 when he arrived at Thompson Field Air National Guard Base in Flowood, Mississippi. (U.S. National Guard photos by Staff Sgt. Scott Tynes)
