Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, were pulling weighted sleds, running with kettlebells and cranking out deadlifts at the gym one recent frosty morning at Fort Drum in preparation for the Army Combat Fitness Test. While awaiting for the snow and ice to dissipate and temperatures return to above freezing, Soldiers are taking every advantage of indoor training grounds and support staff to ready themselves for the new fitness test.
