The staff of the 143rd Dental Company (Area Support) Forward stand outside the dental clinic with their commander, Lt. Col. Daniel P. Alston, a native of Agden, Utah. Alston volunteered to remain in command for more than his assigned time in order to relieve his unit of the burden of putting his replacement through the mobilization process. With dedicated, talented leaders like Alston, Third Army is shaping the future by ensuring the best care available is provided to service members in theater.
