    190225-N-RG171-0420 U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Feb. 25, 2019) The Egyptian navy Descubierta-class corvette El Suez (F946) moves into a formation with the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McFaul (DDG-74) during a passing exercise Feb. 25, 2019. McFaul is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
