U.S. Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 268 conduct a Forward Arming and Refueling Point exercise with U.S. Airmen with the 442nd Fighter Wing, Whiteman Air Force Base, at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Feb. 27, 2019. The exercise utilized a MV-22B Osprey aircraft assigned to VMM-268 to pass fuel to an A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft, increasing flight time and improving interoperability between the two branches.
