The Coast Guard Cutter Robert Ward, a Sentinel Class Fast Response Cutter (FRC) homeported at Coast Guard Base Los Angeles-Long Beach, arrives in San Francisco, Feb. 22, 2019. The Robert Ward is the newest Coast Guard cutter to be stationed in California and will provide additional resources to the Coast Guard in emergency response, maritime smuggling, marine safety, environmental protection, search and rescue, and port security.
