Kuwaiti military veterans discuss the battle between Kuwait and Iraq forces during the 1990 invasion of Kuwait with counterparts from the U.S. Army’s 34th Red Bull Infantry Division at the Kuwait Land Force’s 35th Armored Brigade compound, Feb. 20, 2019. The Red Bulls partnered with their Kuwaiti hosts to learn about the history of Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait and the national and international response that liberated the nation. The Soldiers, currently deployed to the region as Task Force Spartan, also visited the Al Qurain Marytr Museum to discover one story of a battle between local resistance fighters and the invading forces.
