A group of Soldiers with the Mission Command Element, 1st Infantry Division, out of Fort Riley, Kansas, currently deployed to Poland as part of Atlantic Resolve, participate in an indoor soccer tournament against a group of Polish army soldiers in Poznan, Poland, Feb. 22.
The soccer tournament involved 10 groups of uniformed services, including U.S. Army Soldiers, Polish soldiers, the Poznan Police Department, and the Poznan Fire Department.
This tournament gave the Soldiers the opportunity for a healthy competition with the Polish community, create camaraderie, strengthen bonds for future relationships and tournaments while working on physical fitness. (U.S. Army photo by: Spc. Christina Westover)
