Jon-Michael Vangent provides constructive feedback on how the corpsmen could improve their techniques after a mass casualty drill at a Role II medical facility on Ban Chan Krem, Kingdom of Thailand Feb. 13, 2019. Corpsmen and doctors with 3rd Medical Battalion hone their life-saving skills in field environments to prepare for any real scenarios that may happen while deployed. A Role II facility gives the U.S. Navy the ability to provide higher echelon medical care than a normal field medical facilities, such as surgery, dental services and X-ray.
