Two U.S. Army soldiers in OCP (Operational Camouflage Pattern) uniforms are supervising a young girl wearing impairment simulation goggles at what appears to be a community or educational fair. The event is held in a large indoor gymnasium or armory-style building with multiple activity booths. The demonstration appears to be related to impaired vision or drunk driving awareness, based on the goggles visible on the table labeled 'Fatal Vision'.

BURNET, Texas---Sgt. Irma Flores and Sgt. 1st Class Lee Kirkland of the Texas National Guard Joint Counterdrug Task Force, interact with a Burnet Middle School student during Join the Journey’s Safe and Drug Free Wellness Fair in Burnet, Texas, February 7, 2019. The Task Force members encouraged students to try on fatal vision goggles and try to catch a ball. The exercise is intended to educate them on the negative effects of drug and alcohol use. The Join the Journey fair began 6 years ago with the goal of addressing drug use in the community. Local law enforcement, coalitions and wellness organizations also attended the event. Counterdrug Task Force members routinely partner and participate in drug use awareness and prevention events to educate their local communities.
