Andrews, Semmes, Ala., native, and a light-wheel mechanic with the 57th Signal Company, currently supporting the 2nd 'Dagger' Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, walks underneath the archway symbolizing the final hurdle in the transition from Soldier to non-commissioned officer during an NCO induction ceremony held at the Multi-National Division-Baghdad Headquarters at Camp Liberty, Iraq, July 24. Andrews, one of 12 from his company, was formally accepted into the time-honored NCO Corps also known as 'The backbone of the Army.'
