Master Sgt. Tab Reese, Task Force Cavalier 529th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion master driver, observes Spc. Schooley (operator) and Spc. Clottey (ground guide), during the driving portion of forklift operator training January 24, 2019.
When operating and/or guiding a forklift there are two key points you want to keep fresh - communication and safety. Master Sgt. Reese commented that, "Training went very well. Both soldiers worked well together, quicker than others, when it came to good communication and safety" ... "For two Soldiers who never operated a forklift before - they were good... and I gave them some challenging tasks."
