Colorado Army National Guard Master Sgt. Greg Clancy and Sgt. 1st Class Brett Meredith work together to secure specialized rigging to a sling point on a Coast Guard MH-60T Jayhawk helicopter that crashed March 3, 2010, approximately 50 miles east of Salt Lake City, Utah. The Colorado National Guard successfully recovered the boom and the 15,700-pound fuselage in a three-hour, high-altitude salvage operation using a CH-47 Chinook helicopter and a specialized 150-foot-long remote-control cable.
