Planck Aerosystems key leaders land a Shearwater drone on a moving truck to test its capabilities during night time operations on East MCAS Miramar, Calif., Jan. 24. As an autonomous systems testbed, MCAS Miramar hosted the Shearwater drone system, which is capable of landing on moving vehicles and is primarily used to assist in security, search and rescue, convoy support and special operations by providing live aerial surveillance to the user.
