Hiroshi Suzuki, the Vice President of the Japan Defense Society, attends a brief and tour hosted by U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific and Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) leadership and staff members at Kansas Tower, MCBH, Jan. 23, 2019. Members of the Japan Defense Society were given an opportunity to ask detailed questions about defense-related issues of mutual concern and regional issues. The Japan Defense Society raises citizen awareness of national defense, promote mutual understanding between the people and Self-Defense Forces to encourage sound development of the Self-Defense Forces, thus contributing to the peace and prosperity of Japan.
