Soldiers watch as the last convoys roll into Camp Virginia, Kuwait, after leaving Iraq Dec. 18, 2011. It was a day of great significance for American forces as it marked an end to the nearly nine-year war and successful drawdown period which was completed two weeks ahead of schedule.
