185th Air Refueling Wing jet engine mechanics, Master Sgt. Ryan Willis, Tech. Sgt. James Feauto, Staff Sgt. Tyler Phelps, Staff Sgt. Wyatt Mounts remove a transfer gear box from a General Electric F-108 (CFM-56) engine on a U.S. Air Force KC-135 at the Iowa Air National Guard aircraft maintenance facility in Sioux City, Iowa on January 17, 2019. The members of the jet engine shop will remove and replace 41 different seals on the transfer box before reinstalling it on the $8.5 million dollar engine.
