Trees that Hurricane Michael destroyed will be used to grow more, specifically pecan trees, in southwest Georgia. The Corps' mission assignment is under the direction of the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency and the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the FEMA debris mission.
