British Gen. Sir David J. Richards, chief of the Defense Staff, is greeted by Maj. Justin Hughes, Regional Command (South) CJ-3/5, and Wing Commander Rob Humphries, ISAF Joint Command headquarters, as he arrives at RC(S) headquarters on Kandahar Airfield Dec. 20. Richards accompanied Prime Minister David Cameron for his surprise visit to see British troops in the area and to meet briefly with RC(S) leadership.
