U.S. Marines with Sierra Battery, 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, prepare a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System while conducting 'Reconnaissance and Selection of Position' during the Fuji HIMARS Exercise at the Combat Arms Training Center on Camp Fuji, Japan, on Jan. 10-12, 2019. RSOP training allows Marines to select the most effective firing position in order to complete missions successfully. HIMARS training allows 3rd Marine Division to improve our combat lethality by employing our premier mobile artillery rocket systems in the Indo-Pacific area of operations.
