    As the Hurricane Michael vegetative debris mission nears completion, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers started construction and demolition debris removal in southwest Georgia Jan. 9. Eligible storm debris includes sheet metal, plywood, shingles, siding, fences, drywall and insulation. The Corps' mission is under the direction of the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency and the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the FEMA debris mission assignment.
