Danelle Barrett, Navy Cyber Security division director, gives advice on challenging gender bias, maintaining work-life balance and being an effective leader. Approximately 325 defense professionals attended the summit to hear from speakers and trainers on diversity in the workplace, tactical strategies for increased effectiveness and what the future holds for women in the defense industry. This year’s theme was “Empowered by Women, Empowering the Community.”
