U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Shelby Ries, a propulsion apprentice with the 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, conducts routine maintenance on a B-1B Lancer Dec. 22, 2018, at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. Due to Ries’s exceptional performance, she was selected to deploy to Al Udeid as an advanced echelon team member.
