The Southwestern Division Implementation Plan (IPLAN), in alignment with the USACE Campaign Plan (UCP), emphasizes the significance of civil works, military missions, and interagency and international services programs while promoting elements that enable effective project execution. The IPLAN unites SWD’s common vision, purpose, and direction. It responsively adapts to mission and “battle space” changes through regional focus areas, operational priorities, strategic priorities and guiding principles.
SWD’s current challenges and future opportunities create new levels of stakeholder involvement in our business practices, generates a renewed focus on project management business processes and increases efforts on hiring and retaining a talented workforce. “How do we deliver the program?” is our theme for the next year… Our regional IPLAN concentrates on delivering the program, meeting our commitments and building a respected organization well into the future.
