U.S. Army Sgt. Eric Adcock of Sheboygan, Wis., motor sergeant with the 642nd Regional Support Group, prepared vehicles Sept. 15, 2018 to potentially assist with the recovery efforts from Hurricane Florence in North and South Carolina. The impacted areas faced rising flood waters and evacuations. The Army Reserve unit, based in Decatur, Ga., placed a half-dozen people on standby to drive both a Light Medium Tactical Vehicle and a Humvee to the disaster area if needed. In addition, subordinate units under the 642nd Regional Support Group were prepared to send more than a dozen trucks to help deal with the crisis. (U.S. Army Photo by Sgt. 1st Class Gary A.
