Jordanian army Col. Basem Al Alaween, Task Force Nashimi commander, thanks soldiers of Task Force Bulldog after being presented the NATO Medal at Forward Operating Base Shank, Saturday, Dec. 17. Alaween heads a group of Jordanian army soldiers that served with coalition forces, providing security and development. Col. Mark Landes, Task Force Bulldog commander, praised the Jordanian troops for the unique perspective they bring to operations in Afghanistan.
