Belton, Texas, native Spc. William Renick, a Humvee driver with 1st Platoon, Troop A, 3rd Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, lights up a final cigarette inside a Bradley Fighting Vehicle July 11 on the way to a mission in Qahirya, a neighborhood in Baghdad's Adhamiyah District. The mission was to interact with the residents to gather information and disrupt operations of a cell using roadside bombs in the area.
