Posting and retiring the colors Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, during a Wreaths Across America remembrance wreath-laying ceremony at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West, Hopkinsville, Kentucky, were U.S. Army Soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Honor Guard – Sgt. Thomas Ellis, Spc. David West, Pfc. Matt Wilson, Spc. Cordell Smith and Spc. Christian Chacon. More than 600 volunteers who converged on the cemetery to place 2,950 remembrance wreaths on the graves of every veteran interred there.
