During his dry run prior to his BIG night, Santa Claus stops in southwest Georgia to spread some holiday cheer and visit the Army Corps of Engineers’ debris management team that’s working to clean up the debris Hurricane Michael left behind Dec. 23, 2018. Throughout the day, he made stops throughout the area, spreading holiday cheer both in the office and with teammates in the field. He even gave some on the spot safety training at one of the debris management sites. More than 125 employees from across the Corps are spending the holidays in southwest Georgia working to clear an estimated five million cubic yards of debris left behind by Hurricane Michael.
