Unbeknownst to his girlfriend, trumpeter Spc. Michael Maccay arranged to propose to her midway through the 208th Army Reserve Band's annual holiday concert at the Newberry Opera House on Dec. 10. Although the band and Maccay's parents were aware of the proposal, his fiancee, Rebecca Tutterow, was caught by surprise, thinking her name was randomly drawn to come on stage and try to play a holiday version of "Name That Tune."
