Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Jarrett Hal and Chief Operations Specialist John Boeglin test communications equipment while preparing their riverine patrol boat for the day's mission. The crew will serve as opposition forces during various training scenarios off the coast of Newport News, Va. Navy Expeditionary Combat Command units, Maritime Security Squadron 4 and RIVRON 1 are participating in an NECC integrated exercise as part of their pre-deployment certification process.
