U.S. Army Sgt. Nikita Ivanov assigned to 2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division conducts a reconnaissance patrol during Christmas Thunder, a training exercise with Estonian Soldiers held near Ahja, Estonia, Dec. 11, 2018. The Soldiers are in Estonia in support of the 1st ABCT Atlantic Resolve rotation across Europe, which is to improve the interoperability between U.S. Forces and their NATO allies and partners.
